O-Rings Kits are available in AS586 inch sizes, Boss Tube
Fitting Sizes, European Metric Din Standard, and Japanese
Metric J.I.S Standards. Common materials are 70 & 90 NBR.
Special materials such as Viton, and Silicone are also available.
Wear Rings are used as a piston bearing to prevent scratching
and eccentricity of the piston and they also increase the
durability of U-cup packings.
Oil Seals are used to seal various types of fluids in rotating
applications. They can be produced in several materials and lip
configurations depending on the specific application. The
more commonly known designs have a metal or rubber
covered O.D. with a single or double lip and are spring loaded.
O-Rings are of circular cross-section and used for static and
dynamic applications. Several materials and grades of
hardness ranging from 40 - 95 Shore are available.
V-Packings are several pieces that are stack on top of each
other, and used for severe conditions depending on pressure.
More space is required when using V-Packings and sealing
performance is lower than that of a U-Cup seal.
U-Cups are used for both piston and rod seals in hydraulic
cylinders and have either an asymmetrical or symmetrical
sealing lip design.
Back-Up Rings are used in conjunction with o-rings to avoid
gap extrusion, and also with various u-cups to increase the
amount of pressure or extend the height to properly fit inside
housings. Main styles are Solid, Bias-Cut, and Spiral.
Rod Wipers are mainly used to prevent dirt and contamination
from entering cylinders and protecting internal seals.
